What are cast iron rods?

Cast iron rods are made of cast irons which  is a group of iron-carbon alloys with a carbon content greater than 2%. It usually carries other factors including silicon, manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus.
The Cast iron rods are made through casting molten iron into molds to supply solid cylindrical shapes. The Cast iron rods have desirable compression power and put on resistance, making them appropriate for packages in which those homes are critical, which includes in equipment elements like engine blocks, cylinder heads, and brake drums.

What are steel rods?

Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon, typically containing much less than 2% carbon together with other alloying elements which include manganese, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum.
The Steel rods are produced through warm rolling or bloodless drawing tactics, which shape lengthy cylindrical shapes with regular dimensions and mechanical homes.
Steel rods are recognized for their high tensile electricity, ductility, and durability, which lead them to suitable for a wide variety of applications, consisting of production, manufacturing, car, and engineering.
Steel rods are available numerous grades and compositions, every designed to fulfill particular performance requirements.

What is the difference between cast iron and steel rods?

Both our cast iron & steel rod products offer unique benefits for various applications. Cast iron offers high carbon content for durability and heat retention, while steel rods provide superior strength and toughness with a lower carbon range. Select the ideal material for your application.

What are the applications of cast iron and steel?

Both cast iron and steel serve distinct purposes in various applications. Cast iron suits pipe fittings, washers, farm equipment, and more, while steel excels in tools, weapons, vehicles, and infrastructure. Additionally, both materials are used in welding wires and rods. Understanding these differences can guide you in selecting the most suitable material for your specific project needs.
