£33.00 ex.VAT
Genuine Hypertherm Powermax nozzle 220819 is suitable for Powermax 65, 85 and 105 plasma cutting systems for drag cutting and mechanised cutting applications.
The operating range of this nozzle is 45 – 65 Amps.
Nozzles should be regularly inspected for signs of wear such as an oval shaping or rounded edges and replaced when necessary.
Hypertherm also recommend that the electrode is changed out at the same time as nozzle replacement.

Hypertherm Powermax Nozzle:
The Hypertherm Powermax series of plasma cutting systems, including the 65, 85, and 105, use a consumable part called a nozzle to help control the shape and intensity of the plasma arc during cutting operations. Here are some details about the nozzles for each of these systems:
- The nozzle for the Powermax 65 is a small, cylindrical part that screws onto the end of the torch. It helps to control the shape of the plasma arc and protect the swirl ring and electrode from molten metal splatter. The nozzle is a consumable part. You should replace it periodically to maintain optimal cutting performance.
- The nozzle for the Powermax 85 is similar in size and shape to the nozzle for the Powermax 65. It includes Hypertherm’s patented CoolFlow technology, which helps to cool the consumable parts and reduce heat build-up during cutting operations. Like the nozzle for the Powermax 65, it is a consumable part. You should replace it periodically.
- The nozzle for the Powermax 105 is a larger, more robust version of the nozzles for the other Powermax systems. It also includes Hypertherm’s CoolFlow technology and is designed to withstand the heat and wear of high-speed mechanized cutting operations. Like the nozzles for the other Powermax systems, it is a consumable part. You should replace it periodically.
Uses of Hypertherm Powermax Nozzle:
The uses of the Hypertherm Powermax Nozzle include:
- Plasma Cutting: Enhances precision and efficiency in cutting various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Consumable Part: Acts as a critical consumable in plasma cutting systems, needing periodic replacement to maintain cutting quality.
- Improved Cut Quality: Ensures smoother and cleaner cuts by maintaining optimal plasma arc shape and stability.
- Increased Cutting Speed: Supports faster cutting speeds by enabling efficient plasma generation and flow.
- Extended Consumable Life: Contributes to longer consumable life by distributing the plasma arc evenly, reducing wear.
- Versatility: Suitable for a range of Powermax systems, making it versatile for different cutting applications and power levels.
- Cost Efficiency: Helps reduce operational costs by improving cutting performance and reducing the frequency of consumable changes.
- Enhanced Safety: Designed to operate safely under high temperatures and pressures typical in plasma cutting operations.
