Capable of MIG, DC TIG and MMA welding, the Parweld XTM 201DI does it all. A user friendly digital interface is easy to navigate and set up welding parameters for the application in hand.
Ideal for site work, maintenance and repair, the XTM 201DI will run from 110 or 230V and can weld stainless steels, steels and aluminium. MIG (gas or gasless), TIG or MMA processes are all possible.
The display panel guides the user machine through set up, from how to connect the machine for the chosen process, right through to the correct settings for the particular material thickness (in synergic mode). The LCD display is visible in daylight and is protected by a polycarbonate screen which is replaceable if required.
SYNERGIC SET UP
The main menu screen has 4 welding process options, MIG (Synergic), MIG (Manual). TIG and MMA.
In synergic MIG, the user can select material type, shielding gas type, wire diameter selection, 2T or 4T (trigger latching) and material thickness. The machine will set up optimum parameters, with an option to fine tune wire feed and volts.
In MMA, the user is shown correct set up of the electrode holder and return lead. The machine then goes through an electrode type selection, electrode diameter and finally a material thickness. The machine will set up optimum parameters, with an option to fine tune amperage.
When fine tuning settings, the machine will display settings in green. If the value turns red when changed, the machine is alerting you to settings that will cause erratic weld characteristics.
OTHER FEATURES
A quality 2 roll wire feed ensures hassle free and smooth wire feed. A guide roller is included with the machine with grooves for both 0.6 – 1.0mm wires, easily changeable by removing and turning the roller.
An industry standard euro torch connection allows the use of all good quality MIG torches. Supplied with the 4 button Parweld control MIG torch, taking industry standard Binzel style spares available from any welding supplier.
Parweld PRO GRIP MAX® Control torch has 4 buttons. The top and bottom buttons control volt settings and the left and right buttons control amperage settings much like a TV remote control.
Perfect for in the workshop or for mobile use, the Parweld XTM range of machines are lightweight and housed in rugged cases for durability.
